Backlinks are an important part of SEO.  One of the main techniques for ranking a website is to rank it in any search engine. Through backlinks, you get your desired visitors for a long time.

I'm trying to illustrate this with an example.
Suppose you sell various types of electronics products through the website. Now backlink to your website with a nice description and some keywords about what kind of product you sell on your website. So if someone finds an electronics product and reads your description, that person will definitely visit your website.
 
But I put more emphasis on keywords because a person or organization searches the search engine by the name of the specific product or service they need. And after searching, the websites that get to the first page are more visited. The more you backlink with your keywords, the higher your keywords will rank.
